Please note that the above

time, your child will receive a brief speech screening by one of
our speech pathologists, so for this reason your child will need an
appointment. We will also be reviewing with you your child’s registration
paperwork, as well as health history and medical paperwork.
Envelopes containing
registration materials will be sent in January to families with known
eligible children residing in the district. Any child residing within the
Conrad Weiser District who will turn five (5) years old before October 1,
2008 is eligible to register for kindergarten. Families who have
children within this age group who have not received registration materials
should contact Kelly Grabey at either elementary school office – East: (610)
678-9901 or West: (610) 589-2501, to request registration information.
Parents/guardians are invited to attend a
Kindergarten Orientation meeting at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday April 29th, 2008, at the Conrad Weiser East Elementary School, or at
7:00 p.m. on Monday April 28, 2008, at the Conrad Weiser West
Elementary School. During these meetings you will receive information
regarding your child’s first year in school. The teachers will describe the
educational program and how parents can prepare their child/children for
this big event. Feel free to attend the orientation that is most convenient
for you, regardless of which building your child will be attending. Please
keep in mind that the orientation meetings are for parents/guardians only,
and we would appreciate not having small children in attendance.
