Outdoors Club will meet in C208 today during MPP.

  

Girls' Volleyball team will meet in C208 tomorrow at 2:25.  We will be discussing summer work out plans.

 

If prom pictures do not come in this week, they will be left at the office over the summer for  students to pick up?

 

Attention Spring Service Learners – hand in your timesheet as soon as possible.

 

Attention students who are looking for summer employment:  There are still job opportunities being posted on the bulletin board outside of the counseling Office.  Check it out!

 

There are free bowling tickets available in the HS Office.  Stop in to pick some up.

 

All 6th marking period financial obligations must be paid by Thursday, June 5th.

The Robesonia Swim team will begin practice June 9th. Please come to the pool to sign up for swim team. We welcome our new coach Alexandria Crigler, and she is going to make it a great year.

 

Students interested in being in German Club Homeroom next term should sign up in D110 this week.

 

All students enrolled in Ag Science 10 next year MUST see Mr. Edwards, Mr. Miller or Mr. Serfass before the end of the school year.  A unique summer opportunity may be available for you.

WEISER AMBASSADORS is a new program created to help acclimate new students to CW. If you are willing to give new students a tour of the building and help them adjust to our school then this program is for YOU! We are looking for students from all walks of life. If you are interested in representing Weiser as an Ambassador stop by the table at lunch on Monday, 6/2 and Tuesday, 6/3 to pick up an application. Applications are also available in the counseling office! See Amber Moyer, Rachel Koller, Brooke Lovenstein, Dana Keene, Matt Weiser, Mr. Kline, or Mrs. Zickler with any questions or to drop off any completed applications!!!!!

 

Attention NHS members:  Remember to bring your food items to the senior goodbye party which will be held Tuesday, June 3rd during MPP in D206.

 

INTERESTED IN PURSING A CAREER IN THE FIELD OF BUSINESS?  The Business Department is reactivating the Future Business Leaders of American this fall.  If you want to explore different career options in the field of business, attend workshops on  the county, state, and national levels, get a blue application form for FBLA from any of the business teachers.  Return the application to C211, Mrs. Wissinger's room.  An initial meeting will be held this summer--date and time to be determined!

 

Attention students: There will be a meeting for interested students regarding a trip to Spain in the summer of 2009 on Tuesday during homeroom. Pick up passes in D114 or see Ms. Kirkhoff if interested.

 

CW SKI AND SNOWBOARD CLUB – We are going to have a Mandatory club membership at the beginning of MPP on Tuesday, June 3rd.  The meeting will take place in Room C107.  I need officers for next year’s CW SKI AND SNOWBOARD CLUB.  Bring along any ideas where we can go on our big trip or small trip for the 2008-2009 year.  Lake Placid, NY was GREAT!... let us see if we can do better next year.  All interested students welcome.  See Mr. Bright with questions.    

 

Attention Honors and AP English students: You may pick up your summer reading books and lists with the following teachers BEFORE Wednesday, June 7: 10th grade Honors: Mrs. Lentz, D103, $50.00; 11th grade Honors: Mrs. Mohn, Central Administration Office, $62.00; 12th grade AP-Ms. Shaubach, D107, $45.00.  Please make checks payable to “Conrad Weiser Area School District.”  Books for eleventh grade Honors English do not need to be purchased; you may borrow them, but arrangements for pick-up still need to be made with Mrs. Mohn.

 

If any seniors would like to order a senior class picture or have a graduation picture taken on June 5th please see Mr. Rohm for an order form in C-109.

 

The deadline for registering for the Summer SAT/PSAT course is drawing near!  If you are interested in taking this course which is focused on helping you improve your test scores, your registration and payment must be received by the June 4th deadline.  For more information stop in the Counseling Office, talk to Mr. Dietrich or Mrs. Lentz, or check out the school website.

 

Students that did not pick up their yearbook at Spring Fling may pick it up in D210 during the following times ONLY:

                Before 1st block; beginning of MPP (will give passes to MPP) or afterschool

 

Fall sports physicals will be held in the High School Gym on Tuesday, June 12.  You can pick up the physical form in the HS Office.  The schedule for the physicals will be as follows:

                                6:00 – Boys entering Grades 7, 8 & 9                                              7:30 – Girls entering Grades 10, 11 & 12

                                6:30 – Boys entering Grades 10, 11 & 12                       7:45 – Doors Closed

                                7:00 – Girls entering Grades 7, 8 & 9                                               8:00 – Physicals Over

 

Any student taking A.P. Calculus next year needs to see Ms. Kreiser in C204 before the end of the school year.

 

Students who park in the Middle School lot – You may not park in the first 2 rows closest to the Middle School.  Those spots are reserved for Middle School faculty.
