Program Objectives

  • Develop and maximize students' academic skills through an integrated curriculum

  • Teach responsible decision-making skills

  • Through individual and small group support, improve students' self-esteem, self-worth, and self-control

  • Collaborate with school districts, parents, and outside agency providers to facilitate students' return to the home district

The curriculum includes:

  • English

  • Reading

  • Math

  • Science

  • Social Studies

  • Consumer Science

  • Health

  • Art

  • Physical Education

It also offers transition skills and the opportunity to participate in vocational training and various work experiences. Students receive individual and group sessions with a school social worker as part of the program.
