Last week, Mrs. Vassallo's morning and afternoon classes performed some up close and personal observations on our Third grade Madagascar hissing cockroaches at East Elementary. Students enjoyed holding one of our hisser friends named Wall-e, while learning more about their characteristics and behaviors. While performing our science investigation, we had a few special guests including our superintendent, Dr. Giffing and our very own, Mr. Winston! #WeAreWeiser

Earlier this week, we were once again thank fun to have our local police department come out to spend some time with some of our students who earned enough SWPBS tickets to have lunch with a police officer. We are always grateful for the time they spend with our students! #WeAreWeiser

What a way to spend a half day today! Our students were entertained and captivated by the sounds and songs of Steven Courtney this morning in our assembly. They heard songs about kindness and friendship and so much more! Everyone had a great time! #WeAreWeiser

On Tuesday this week, Mrs. Sweigart's second grade class celebrated with a a special pajama day at school. Everyone was comfy and cozy! #WeAreWeiser

Earlier this week, Mrs. Fick's and Mrs. James' second grade classes enjoyed their VIP Recess! These classes were the first to fill their final SWPBS cafeteria chart of the year and earn this fun reward. #WeAreWeiser

Earlier this week, some of our students had their Lunch with a Firefighter reward for earning enough SWPBS tickets. A great lunch was had by all! A huge thank you to our local fire department for always showing up for our students! #WeAreWeiser

⚽️ Fall Soccer Registration is NOW OPEN! 🎉 The CW Youth Soccer Club is excited to kick off another great season! Registration is open for U9–U13 travel players (birth years 2013–2017) and will close on May 31st to allow for player evaluations. 📍 Evaluations will take place at East Elementary Soccer Fields from 6–8 PM on June 2nd–4th. 📅 Detailed evaluation schedules for each travel team will be posted on our Facebook page by May 26th—stay tuned! 👧👦 Got a younger player? Earlier this week, Mrs. Alexander's first grade class released the butterflies they have been observing since they were caterpillars in their room. They were able to see the whole life cycle for caterpillar to butterfly and release it into its natural habitat! #WeAreWeiser

The 2024-2025 school yearbooks have now been distributed. A limited number of extra yearbooks are available for purchase at Conrad Weiser East for $25. Payment can be made via cash or checks payable to CW East. Please note that sales will be conducted on a first-come, first-served basis, and reservations cannot be accepted. #WeAreWeiser

Yesterday, we were treated to the wonderful sounds and talents of our 4th grade band and chorus! They put on a phenomenal show for our students, and we heard an even grander show last night! Congrats on a job well done! #WeAreWeiser

Dear CWE Families, We’re excited for Field Day on Friday, May 30th—rain or shine! ☀️🌧️ Please review the important information below to help us make the day smooth, safe, and fun for everyone. 👀 Visitors To ensure student safety, only Conrad Weiser employees and pre-registered volunteers will be permitted on campus. 🚫 Volunteer signups are now closed. 🙌 Volunteers Thank you to all who signed up to help! ❤️ Here are a few reminders: ⏰ Volunteer arrival times have already been shared. 🚗 Parking will be limited—please be respectful of neighbors when parking in the community. 🚫 Do not park in the reserved spaces in the east lot (near the baseball field); these are for cafeteria staff and noon-time aides. ✅ Please check in at the volunteer table near the outdoor gym entrance on the east side of the school. 🌧️ If we move indoors due to weather, we will only need volunteers assigned to indoor stations. 🧒 What Students Need to Know 📆 Field Day is happening rain or shine. If the weather is uncooperative, we will follow our indoor schedule. 👕 Show your school spirit by wearing a Walk for Weiser shirt, Weiser gear, or blue and white. 👟 Dress for activity—comfortable clothing and sneakers (tie or Velcro) are required. 💧 Bring a water bottle labeled with your name—water only, please. 🧢 Consider sending a hat or sunglasses, also labeled. 🧴 Please apply sunscreen at home before school.
