Last week, Mrs. Vassallo's morning and afternoon classes performed some up close and personal observations on our Third grade Madagascar hissing cockroaches at East Elementary. Students enjoyed holding one of our hisser friends named Wall-e, while learning more about their characteristics and behaviors. While performing our science investigation, we had a few special guests including our superintendent, Dr. Giffing and our very own, Mr. Winston! #WeAreWeiser

Earlier this week, we were once again thank fun to have our local police department come out to spend some time with some of our students who earned enough SWPBS tickets to have lunch with a police officer. We are always grateful for the time they spend with our students! #WeAreWeiser

What a way to spend a half day today! Our students were entertained and captivated by the sounds and songs of Steven Courtney this morning in our assembly. They heard songs about kindness and friendship and so much more! Everyone had a great time! #WeAreWeiser

Yesterday may have been a cloudy and rainy day, but it didn't stop first grade from celebrating the coming of summer with Shades and Bubbles Day! #WeAreWeiser

On Tuesday this week, Mrs. Sweigart's second grade class celebrated with a a special pajama day at school. Everyone was comfy and cozy! #WeAreWeiser

Earlier this week, Mrs. Fick's and Mrs. James' second grade classes enjoyed their VIP Recess! These classes were the first to fill their final SWPBS cafeteria chart of the year and earn this fun reward. #WeAreWeiser

Earlier this week, some of our students had their Lunch with a Firefighter reward for earning enough SWPBS tickets. A great lunch was had by all! A huge thank you to our local fire department for always showing up for our students! #WeAreWeiser

⚽️ Fall Soccer Registration is NOW OPEN! 🎉 The CW Youth Soccer Club is excited to kick off another great season! Registration is open for U9–U13 travel players (birth years 2013–2017) and will close on May 31st to allow for player evaluations. 📍 Evaluations will take place at East Elementary Soccer Fields from 6–8 PM on June 2nd–4th. 📅 Detailed evaluation schedules for each travel team will be posted on our Facebook page by May 26th—stay tuned! 👧👦 Got a younger player?
