2024 N.E.E.D. Camp is coming to an end as the Diplomats are journaling at the final quiet hour after their ecology lesson. Just as reminded in Mr. Feeg's nightly campfires, we again hope, for you, that N.E.E.D. Camp was not "just a dream", but instead, like Little Gopher, you have painted memories of brilliant reds and oranges with hues of yellows and vivid greens and the deepest blues and purples. Hold those painted memories close! A week can go by so quickly but leave so many things in our hearts. Our silver and gold friends- all of you- now share this special bond of N.E.E.D. Camp forever. #WeAreWeiser

N.E.E.D. Camp continues as students learned about continuity and change in nature on the trail today while hiking or around their campfire cookouts. Here are a few pictures of today's adventures for the Diplomat Team. #WeAreWeiser

The sun has broken through the rain clouds and blue skies are above as the Diplomats have either set out on their hike or completed their trail group challenges and campfire cookout. The rain yesterday evening only added to our fun! The team is looking forward to more adventures as their week continues! #WeAreWeiser

The Diplomats are busy on their second day of N.E.E.D. Camp working through their Pattern stations and lessons. Campers learned how to use compasses for orienteering , binoculars to observe birds, have gone fishing, learned of water purity, and worked on their camp bracelets and tshirts while learning about patterns in nature. #WeAreWeiser

Week 2 of N.E.E.D. Camp has begun and this week is the Diplomat Team's turn. They have already made it out to the trail to learn about similarities and variations in nature, and complete their first Quiet Hour. Enjoy a few snapshots from a beautiful and sunny day at camp! #WeAreWeiser

Today marks the last full day of N.E.E.D. Camp for the Peacekeeper Team. Students have found their footing and are on their way! Students continue to learn and grow today while studying continuity and change in ecology. Here are a few snapshots of another sunny morning at camp! #WeAreWeiser

It's been a sunny and fun day on the third day of Peacekeeper's week of N.E.E.D. Camp. Some students completed their hike while others enjoyed their campfire cookout and trail group challenges. This afternoon, campers enjoyed a visit from Red Creek Wildlife Rescue and some of their owl, vulture, hawk and opossum friends! #WeAreWeiser

The Peacekeepers are enjoying a beautiful second day in the mountains of N.E.E.D. Camp! They have been busy using binoculars to go birding, using compasses for orienteering, studying the water purity of the camp streams, creating camp tshirts and bracelets, and even going fishing by the camp lake! It has been an eventful and fun experience learning and trying new things! #WeAreWeiser
