Spring Break is almost here 🌸 🌺 ! This is a reminder that we have a 1/2 day this Wednesday, April 5th (a snow make-up day from 12/23/22). School offices are closed beginning at noon on 4/5 and will reopen at 8 am on 4/11. I encourage everyone, students and staff, to take a break from the demands of school and enjoy this time with their family and friends. 🖍🖍🖍 The Berks County Intermediate Unit (BCIU) anticipates continuing to operate a Pre-K Counts classroom within the Conrad Weiser School District at Bethany Children’s Home for the 2023-2024 school year. The BCIU is currently gathering information to secure grant funding as part of the Pre-K Counts state 5-year rebid process for July 1, 2023 – June 30, 2028. At this stage of the application process, the BCIU is gathering family interest and eligibility for the Pre-K Counts Program. Just a reminder that tomorrow is Planting Day! Wear green and each student will get a seed to begin planting indoors. We will determine a day in the warmer months to put seedlings in the ground.
