Mrs. Bowser's second grade class won storytime with Andi, a DJ for the local radio station Y102. Andi came to talk about her job at the station, answer questions, read a book called "The Rules of the House" to the class, and present Mrs. Bowser with a $250 visa gift card to be used in her classroom. The class had a blast! She also complimented how well they listened, and how kind they were to each other while she visited! #WeAreWeiser

Our students are learning that staying healthy is more than just washing hands before lunch (although that helps)! Our school nurse, Mrs. Grieve, recently wrapped up a round of lessons with our 3rd and 4th grade students focused on hygiene and healthy habits. From everyday practices to staying well at school and home, students gained important knowledge to help keep themselves and others healthy. Thank you, Mrs. Grieve, for sharing your expertise and helping our students build lifelong healthy habits! #WeAreWeiser #HandwashingIsKey #HappyIsHealthy
