We’re all looking forward to the upcoming Winter Break, and I’m encouraging everyone — students and staff alike — to take a real break from school!

This is a time for rest, family, and fun ! ❄️

Lucy and Moriah served up tons of smiles during one of our favorite West lunches this week! These young ladies helped our food service team by handing out Juice Rush and rolls to our kindergarten students, then headed out to assist our noon-time aides. This week at CW West and East, NHS students led another exciting Ready 5 session! 🌟 This month’s focus is the word RESPONSIBLE💡. NHS students helped elementary students reflect on times they showed responsibility 💭, understand why it matters 🧠 , and see how their everyday choices can make a big difference for themselves and those around them! 🤝📚

🤩 We can’t wait to see what the rest of our Ready 5 sessions hold for our students! 💙🤍

NOETIC MATH CONTEST WINNERS!
In November, select students from 2nd, 3rd, and 4th grades participated in the Noetic Learning Math Contest. Our winners received their awards yesterday!
In 2nd Grade- Kain Gallagher and Josiah Matz earned National Honorable Mentions, and Josiah was our Team Winner!
In 3rd Grade- Emmett Jackson, Charlotte Sweigart, Alden Lizardo, and Ryann Medina-Sandoval earned National Honorable Mentions, and Ryann was the Team Winner!
In 4th Grade- Cael Oberlin and Mckensi Manbeck earned National Honorable Mentions, and Mckensi was the Team Winner!
We are so proud of your hard work, determination, and resilience!

12 students from 1st through 4th grade competed in the Keystone Competition at the BCIU on Tuesday, December 16th. Our 3 teams collaborated to solve a real-world problem, pitched and presented their ideas to judges, and had an awesome time with so many other young engineers! Our 2 youngest teams tied for 3rd place for their designs!
