Today, students in Mrs. Gates' 4th grade classroom debated on several topics relating to the American Revolution πΊπΈ (The Boston Massacre/Riot, taxation with representation, the Stamp Act, etc.) Students were grouped as Loyalists and Colonists and made arguments grounded in fact and supported by evidence. Mrs. Chelius's class worked hard over the last couple weeks to plan a kindness party for the school. This will take place on Friday, February 10th. Students will enjoy pizza, ice cream, and a movie during their lunch period! It includes a spirit day - wear the jersey/tee/colors of the Super Bowl team you will cheer for! We are looking forward to kicking off our kindness week with this Friday funπ

On Friday, Mrs. Whalen's class filled their class pompom jar π π and earned some time to play board games π²β. The board games helped the students learn how to play together, take turns, follow directions, and have fun! #WeAreWeiser




Mrs. Wertzβs class completed a Math Fact Road Challenge πΊ π π , and celebrated with lunch and ice cream π¨ in the classroom on Friday. During lunch, students also participated in a Kahoot about the science π§ͺ π¬ of ice cream π¦ . The math fact fluency challenge was a fun way to help students learn and master multiplication facts as well as build fact fluency. Each week, students traveled to a different state across the USA πΊπΈ to master a different fact family. #WeAreWeiser
