Mrs. Griffith’s 1st grade class got to carve a pumpkin 🎃 today! They made predictions about how many seeds were in the pumpkin and then worked together to count the seeds by tens. 3rd Grade Science 🧪 🧫 In this investigation we tested and observed how water 💦 interacts with different surfaces. We tested writing paper, 📝 wax paper, aluminum foil, and paper towels. We observed the water absorb in some surfaces and bead up on others. #WeAreWeiser #We💙science #LearningIsFun

Ms. Looses class worked in partners today to make fact family houses 🏠 Students took turn rolling the dice 🎲 🎲 and finding the 3️⃣ numbers in the fact family. They then created the four related addition ➕and subtraction ➖sentences! 🟰#WeAreWeiser #LearningIsFun

The 2nd grade classes at CW West took a blast to the past at Old Dry Road Farm. We learned how people lived over 200 years ago. We dipped candles, made apple cider, made potato candy and learned how gardens were a very important part of the daily life. 🕯️ 🍎 🥤 🥔 🍭 #WeAreWeiser #LearningIsFun
