Our 3rd and 4th grade Girls on the Run team completed their practice 5k today after school! ππ»ββοΈπ₯ The sidelines were full of supportive friends and families. ππ€ We are so proud of how hard they worked!

π₯³πToday we celebrate the birthday of the one and only Conrad Weiser. Our school is one of the many things named after the great pioneer. He was born on November 2nd, 1696 and today we celebrate with a free treat in the cafeteria provided by our PTO! Thank you PTO! ππ₯³
Miss Hulinaβs Kindergarten & Miss Palmβs 4th grade enjoyed getting to know each other earlier this week! They spent time reading fall books, and making fun memories together. π π The youngest and oldest students at CW West loved getting to learn together! ππ€ #WeAreWeiser
The 2nd-grade classes at CW West rotated to each classroom and participated in fall activities. This included Bingo, read-alouds, painting, a following directions story & craft, and sight word activity. The students had fun learning and were respectful! #WeAreWeiser

Ms. Looseβs first grade spent all week learning about and exploring pumpkins! Today, we identified how tall our pumpkins are, how many lines and seeds they have, if they sink or float, and if theyβre small, medium, or big! We ended the day painting our pumpkins! π #learningisfuninA1 #WeAreWeiser
Mrs. Bowser's 1st grade class did some experiments π¬ with candy corn today! They put it in three different liquids to see which liquid would dissolve the candy corn first. They used water, vinegar, and isopropyl alcohol...which do you think dissolved the candy corn the fastest? #WeAreWeiser
Our Family Fall Fest was a wonderful night of community at West. Thank you to all the teachers who spent their evening making this fun for our families and thank you to the families that came out to support their children. π π€ #WeAreWeiser
4th grade had a great time visiting the Pennsylvania State Capitol on Wednesday! ππ€ They learned all about the House of Representatives and the State Senate.
