Jennifer Gossert currently teaches STEM to students in grades K–4 at Conrad Weiser West Elementary. She is responsible for the creation of the STEM program and establishment of the STEM elective class at West Elementary. Ms. Gossert continues to grow and expand the program, creating meaningful STEM opportunities for all students- not just those identified as gifted. ❤️
Being accepted into this four-year program is a tremendous honor. Ms. Gossert was one of just 27 teachers officially chosen after completing a highly selective application process with several required qualifications. 👏
As an official member of the STEM Pioneers Teacher Corps, Ms. Gossert has brought new skills and knowledge back to Conrad Weiser to strengthen STEM programming across grades K–4. One example is her advocacy for the return of the Keystone BCIU competition for K–4 students following the state’s removal of this age group from the competition. Thanks to these efforts, a total of 11 school districts now participate in this competition, which is graciously hosted at Penn State Berks.
But perhaps Ms. Gossert’s most rewarding achievement is seeing the excitement and enthusiasm her students have for STEM programs and competitions. She works hard to create these opportunities for her students without placing a financial burden on families, ensuring that participation is accessible and free of cost.
We are incredibly proud of Ms. Gossert and all she does to inspire curiosity, creativity, and a love of STEM in our students! 🔬🚀❤️

🤝✨ We kicked off something GREAT! ✨🤝
Last week, we held our very first Conrad Weiser Business Coalition meeting, bringing together 12 incredible representatives from businesses throughout our community who are committed to supporting our students and helping us create meaningful connections between our school and the real world of work. 💙
Our goal is simple: come together as a community to support our students, expand opportunities, and bring real-world work experiences into their education.
During our meeting, we had the opportunity to hear from three of our amazing student interns:
✨ Erica — interning at Skin Solutions Med Spa
✨ Lily — interning at Core Health Chiropractic
✨ Ethan — interning right here at Conrad Weiser West Elementary
We are SO proud of these three for having the courage to speak in front of our board and share the incredible things they are learning, experiencing, and accomplishing through their internships! 👏🏼
And of course, we have to give a special shout-out to one of our leaders, Brian Clements, who brought working gloves for each of our members, sponsored by Clements Waste Services! 🧤 As Brian said, “We have a lot of work to do!” And we couldn’t agree more! 💪🏼
A huge THANK YOU to all of our board members who took time out of their busy mornings to join us and help kick off the beginning of something truly special. We are so excited to see where this partnership takes us and, most importantly, how it continues to create opportunities for our students. 💙
